Significant Differences Between The Cartridge Razor And Electric Shaver

We recently surveyed our clients to understand the current state of men’s grooming. One of the most significant factors is what tools people use to shave, and there is a clear gap between blade razors and electric razors. We conducted an in-depth study of the results to understand the commonalities between routine procedures and how changing beauty tools differ from daily shaving.

Cost

Cartridge razors

60% of people who use blade razors to shave use as many as 4 shaving products a day and more than half of them spend a staggering £10-20 a month (on products), an average of £180 a year. If you set the price of a standard razor body at £10, and if the shaving cartridge is replaced weekly as recommended, the annual cost of the shaving cartridge alone is approximately £140. In general, although they are cheap at runtime and can be easily purchased in weekly stores, in general, their cost is beyond your imagination.

Electric shavers

70% of men use the best electric shaver for men and use up to 4 shaving products every day. The rest uses only traditional soap and water. Overall, 58% of consumers spend less than £10 a month on shaving products. An electric shaver’s price ranges from £50 to £300, depending on quality and functionality. The functional progress has been reduced to a cheaper price range, and all major brands offer good choices at all price points. It is essential to consider whether you need to replace blunt or worn cutting heads, but they should be easy to use for 18-24 months (as long as they are well maintained). Economically speaking, an electric shaver is a good investment in the long run, and you don’t necessarily need a top electric shaver to get excellent results.

Time & Convenience

Cartridge razors

52% of razor customers spend 10-20 minutes in the beauty process every day. The blades need to be rinsed after each shaving, so shaving with a blade razor will take more time because of foaming. It dulls the blades, and men usually need to replace the cartridge blades several times a week. It is a time-consuming process and usually causes skin irritation, thereby increasing the entire beauty process. If you are not familiar with shaving, traditional shaving with a blade razor may become a complicated learning process. The hair on the face grows in different directions, and you must follow the grain texture to achieve a close-fitting but comfortable shave.

Electric shavers

One of the great reasons why razor customers choose skull shaver for men is their convenience and speed. Most brands offer wet and dry options. It means it doesn’t have to take a long time. Unless you choose wet shaving, there is no need for foaming or extensive preparation (you should still consider using pre-shaving oil or balm). The electric shaver can be rinsed in cold water or placed in an automatic cleaning and charging station after shaving. If you find your daily grooming work is tedious and time-consuming, electric shavers are known for shaving your hair faster. You don’t have to use grains simultaneously so that you can save time in front of the mirror.
